GREAT BOOKS READING AND DISCUSSION
GROUP Great Books is not a class, but a group of men and women who enjoy discussing ideas and questions found in notable literature. There are no fees, and no prerequisites. Research is not needed, either. Everyone is invited to attend at any time. You may use your own books, or you may order the second-year set of readings from the Great Books Foundation (1-800-222-5870) for about thirty dollars. Order Great Books 2nd Series and Reader's Aid. Lincoln City Libraries have several copies of this paperback set: call no.: 808.8 Gre2. Or you may download many of these readings from the web. Calendar for 2007-2008 |
